Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Contracts Manager to support the full lifecycle of government-related agreements across state and local contracting, ensuring compliance and risk management. You will partner with legal, sales, product, operations, and finance to drive contracts to closure.

The role emphasizes drafting, redlining, negotiation, and cradle-to-grave lifecycle activities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required.
5+ years of contract management experience in corporate or government contracting.
Experience in small to mid-sized companies with cross-functional roles.
Proficient in contract law, drafting, redlining and negotiation.
Familiarity with CLM systems (Cobblestone, Salesforce) and government contracts.

Responsibilities

Oversee end-to-end state and local government contracting processes from RFP to wind-down.
Support cradle-to-grave contract lifecycle activities including intake, negotiation, and close-out.
Ensure contractual obligations, deliverables, and risk mitigation are understood.
Coordinate approvals and documentation per DOA and governance frameworks.
Provide guidance on interpretation, risk exposure, and escalation paths.
Maintain contract records in CLM systems and drive process improvements.
Maintain compliance artifacts in SharePoint/tools and refine templates.
