Job summary

Avantor is seeking a Contract Analyst – Government Contracts to administer and support our government contract programs, with focus on NASPO and DLA eCAT. You will collaborate with Sales, Legal, Pricing and Government Contracts leadership to ensure compliance and timely execution.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent applicable experience.
• Minimum of 3+ years of applicable experience in contracts, government procurement, pricing, customer contract operations, reporting, or related function.
• Government procurement and contract administration background preferred.
• Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations preferred, but not required.
• Strong Excel capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage contract administrative efforts for assigned government contracts, including NASPO and DLA eCAT, ensuring requirements are met on time and in compliance.
• Perform root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions with internal and external partners.
• Prepare customer-specific reports, fee requirements, and contract performance tracking.
• Handle contract modifications and maintenance of pricing files for assigned contracts.
• Proactively suggest tools, policies, and processes to improve government contract performance and efficiency.
• Provide analytics to Sales leadership and Government Contracts Manager to drive growth and profitability.
• Collaborate with Sales and Bids/Quotes to implement new agreements and ensure contractual requirements are delivered.
• Train internal partners to maintain reporting and fee obligations in compliance with contracts.
• Monitor accounts against departmental metrics to drive process improvements and accountability.
• Maintain clear communication with stakeholders and government customers regarding requirements and timelines.
• Support audit readiness and contract file maintenance.
