Job summary

MTOLP seeks a Governance Analyst II in Los Angeles or Washington DC to support the firm’s governance program. You will partner with legal, operations, and technology teams to ensure policy compliance and to drive conflict checks, new matter intake, ethical walls, and records retention.

Responsibilities include preparing conflict reports, managing matter data, drafting engagement letters, and supporting outside counsel guidelines and audit letters.

Qualifications

• Conflicts, governance, or records experience at 3+ years in a professional setting.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Provide subject matter expertise to governance program including conflicts checks and new matter intake.
• Prepare and analyze conflicts reports to identify potential issues.
• Document and maintain matter lifecycle data in firm systems.
