Job summary

Texas Democratic Party in Beaumont, Texas, seeks a GOTV Data Associate to support Get Out the Vote efforts. You’ll provide day-to-day data and VAN technical support, write SQL queries, and help create dashboards and reports for the GOTV program.

This is a fast-paced, data-driven role that collaborates with the Data Team and campaign staff to resolve issues, analyze data, and improve GOTV operations during the 2026 cycle. Requires strong problem solving and independence.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with campaign operations and the pace and demands of a political campaign.
• Strong task and time management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, tasks, and competing priorities at the same time.
• Experience on electoral, union, or community organizing campaigns is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, manage, and respond to VAN support tickets and user requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Troubleshoot VAN issues and provide technical assistance to campaign and organizing staff.
• Complete data entry, reporting, and other assigned tasks within VAN accurately and efficiently.
• Support geographies/districts, including VAN administration, creating phone banks, managing texting programs, and more
• Work closely with the TDP Data Team to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve data and technology issues.
• Complete projects and tasks assigned by the GOTV Data & Analytics Director.
• Write, modify, and troubleshoot SQL queries as assigned.
• Create, update, and maintain reports and dashboards using Google Data Studio.
• Use Google Sheets and other data tools to support GOTV reporting and analysis.
• Document recurring issues, processes, and solutions to help improve data team support.
• Communicate clearly with users and data team members, including translating technical issues into practical solutions.
• Manage multiple assignments and priorities while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced campaign environment.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned in support of Texas Together’s GOTV program.
