Job summary

The Texas Democratic Party is seeking a GOTV Data Associate in Round Rock, TX to support Get Out the Vote operations for the Texas Together 2026 Coordinated Campaign. You will provide day-to-day data and VAN technical support, respond to tickets, troubleshoot issues, and complete data tasks under a fast-paced campaign environment.

You will write SQL queries, work with Google Sheets and Data Studio, assist with data analysis and reporting, and collaborate with the Data Team on broader GOTV data

Qualifications

• No formal educational requirement; experience and demonstrated ability valued.
• Familiar with campaign operations and the pace of a political campaign.
• Strong task and time management skills essential.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Comfort in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Clear communication and responsive user support.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, manage, and respond to VAN support tickets and user requests promptly.
• Troubleshoot VAN issues and provide technical assistance to staff.
• Complete data entry, reporting, and other VAN tasks accurately.
• Support geographies/districts, VAN administration, and texting programs.
• Collaborate with the Data Team to identify and resolve data/tech issues.
• Complete GOTV Data Projects assigned by the GOTV Data & Analytics Director.
• Write, modify, and troubleshoot SQL queries as assigned.
• Create and maintain reports/dashboards using Google Data Studio.
• Use Google Sheets for GOTV reporting and data analysis.
• Document recurring issues, processes, and solutions for team
• Communicate clearly with users and data teammates, translating tech issues into practical solutions.
• Manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced campaign environment.
• Perform additional duties to support Texas Together’s GOTV program.
