Job summary

The Texas Democratic Party seeks a GOTV Data Associate in Plano to support Get Out the Vote efforts for Texas Together 2026. You will handle VAN tickets, troubleshoot data/tech issues, and assist with data analysis and reporting alongside the Data Team.

Responsibilities include writing SQL queries, dashboards in Google Data Studio, and coordinating with staff on data-driven GOTV tasks during a fast-paced campaign window.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with campaign operations and fast pace of campaigns.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem solving.
• Ability to communicate clearly with diverse users.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, manage, and respond to VAN support tickets and user requests.
• Troubleshoot VAN issues and provide technical assistance to staff.
• Complete data entry, reporting, and other tasks in VAN accurately.
• Support geographies/districts, VAN administration, phone banks, texting programs.
• Collaborate with the GOTV Data Team to troubleshoot data/tech issues.
• Complete projects assigned by the GOTV Data & Analytics Director.
• Write, modify, and troubleshoot SQL queries as needed.
• Create and maintain reports and dashboards in Google Data Studio.
• Use Google Sheets to support GOTV reporting and analysis.
• Document recurring issues and solutions to improve support.
• Communicate clearly with users and team members on issues.
• Manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines in a fast-paced campaign.
• Perform other duties to support Texas Together’s GOTV program.
