Job summary

Make Golf Your Career in Redmond, OR is seeking a Golf Shop Service Agent to greet, assist and check-in customers entering the golf shop. This role blends customer service, cash handling and POS usage in a retail golf environment.

You will process tee times, handle golf fees, sell merchandise and maintain shop cleanliness, cart operations, and snack bar support as needed. Strong English communication and basic computer skills are required; golf knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a retail environment.
• Golf Course experience preferred but not a pre-requisite.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a warm, friendly and welcoming tone.
• Answer the phone and provide information to customers.
• Process tee time reservations, collect golf fees and proactively sell golf merchandise.
• Accurately account for all credit card and cash handling transactions.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the Golf Shop.
• Ensure rental equipment is properly checked out and accounted for.
• Assist Course Ambassadors to ensure smooth operation and traffic flow on the course.
• Understand rules and etiquette of golf.
• Assist in snack bar area when needed.
• Drive golf carts and park in staging areas.
• Other duties as assigned.
