Job summary

University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s Athletics department seeks a Golf Operations Associate for Ath Finley Golf Course ProShop. This temporary SHRA role supports golfers and shop staff with check-in, retail services, cart staging, and range duties. A valid NC driver’s license is required by start date.

The position offers a variable schedule and a $14.00–$20.00 per hour wage, with a 6 months or longer appointment possible. Weekend work and strong customer service are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency; or demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work.
• Must be able to work weekends.
• Inventory experience as it relates to a retail operation.
• Good customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assist golfers and golf shop staff with check-in, retail services, cart staging, practice range, and course needs.
• Assist with course needs and support shop operations as needed.
