W4 Games is seeking a Godot Solutions Architect for North America. You will be the technical voice in high‑value customer conversations, aligning engineering feasibility with business goals, and owning pre‑sales engagements without a quota.

Remote, open to US and Canada, travel up to 25% and close collaboration with COO, sales, and engineering leadership to scope performance, engine customization, and pipeline integration.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of Godot as a power user.
• 5+ years across engineering or adjacent technical roles.
• Able to prototype quickly and avoid over-engineering.
• Comfortable moving between engineering and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong technical writing; able to present to technical audiences.
• Self-driven, proactive, and organized.
• Willing to travel up to 25% for conferences and meetings.

Responsibilities

• Joining discovery and qualification calls as the engineering counterpart to our business leads.
• Framing customer problems clearly, and separating real risk from perceived risk.
• Owning and proposing technical solutions, working with our internal technical team on the more complex problems.
• Building targeted, time-boxed PoCs for strategic opportunities, reusable where possible.
• Driving technical follow-up after events and calls, and contributing to formats like roundtables where they make sense.
• Delivering talks at selected industry events, building depth in a few themes tied to our services rather than producing one-off content.
• Turning talks and internal engineering projects into blog posts, engineering notes, whitepapers, and recorded content.
