Job summary

RTX is hiring for a Systems Engineer II - Guidance, Navigation, and Control Engineer in Tucson, AZ. This onsite role focuses on evaluating, designing, implementing, and integrating embedded software algorithms within an integrated product team.

You will develop and test embedded missile flight code, perform system-level analyses, and contribute to agile backlogs. A degree in STEM and 2+ years of related experience are required, with eligibility for U.S. security clearances.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related STEM degree and a minimum of 2 years prior relevant experience.
• GNC, Signal Processing, and/or Modeling / Simulation experience.
• Experience with MATLAB, Python, C, C++, and/or Object-Oriented programming.

Responsibilities

• Development, integration, and testing of embedded tactical missile flight code.
• Definition and execution of system level performance studies and analyses.
• Work within an agile framework to lead development of backlogs, plans, and metrics.
• Provide experience and guidance to help the program train new engineers and execute efficiently.
• Support missile performance analysis including model development and Monte Carlo assessments.
