Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ is hiring an Entry Level Systems Engineer to support the Processing, Guidance & Control Center. You will assist in evaluating, designing, implementing, and integrating embedded software algorithms for GNC, with focus on navigation, estimation, and control systems.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in STEM by start date, experience with MATLAB, Python, C/C++, and Linux, and exposure to GNC, CFD, or related modeling/simulation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, physics, mathematics, or related STEM field by start date.
Experience with MATLAB, Python, C/C++, and/or Object-Oriented design and Linux operating systems.
Experience with one or more: GNC systems, modeling & simulation, control systems, Kalman filter design, signal processing, navigation, sensors, and APNT, or CFD.

Responsibilities

Evaluate, design, implement, and integrate embedded software algorithms for GNC.
Analyze system aerodynamics via CFD and wind tunnel testing.
Collaborate in an integrated product team for tactical embedded software and six-DOF simulations.
