RTX in Tucson, AZ is hiring a Systems Engineer in the Guidance, Navigation, and Control domain to help evaluate, design, implement, and integrate embedded software algorithms for current and upcoming missile programs.

In GNC we use CFD and wind tunnel data, develop tracking and navigation algorithms, and run six‑degree‑of‑freedom simulations to verify performance. This role collaborates with an integrated product team and may require DoD Secret clearance.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, physics, mathematics, or a related STEM field, obtained by start date.
• Experience with MATLAB, Python, C/C++, and/or Object-Oriented design and Linux operating systems.
• Experience with GNC systems, modeling & simulation techniques, digital/modern control systems, dynamics, Kalman filter design, signal processing, navigation systems, sensors, algorithms, and CFD.
• Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate, design, implement, and integrate embedded software algorithms.
• Characterize system aerodynamics via CFD and wind tunnel testing, and design/optimize guidance and navigation algorithms.
• Collaborate with an integrated product team to achieve system performance and simulations goals.
