Job summary

Lilly is seeking a System Engineer to act as front-line technical support across the Tech at Lilly landscape, focusing on business systems, infrastructure, and QC Lab interfaces. You will collaborate with operations, quality, and IT teams to gather requirements, document processes, and maintain GMP-compliant digital solutions throughout their lifecycle.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, engineering, or related field.
3+ years in systems engineering, technical support, or related.
2+ years GMP/pharma manufacturing experience or exposure.

Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day technical support for business systems and plant-floor interfaces.
Develop understanding of system platform and grow toward independent operation.
Support infrastructure activities (servers, network connectivity, user access, basic config).
Provide technical support for QC Lab systems and interfaces with QA teams.
Gather and document requirements from stakeholders and translate into technical specs.
Create and maintain SOPs and process docs aligned with GMP and validation practices.
Assist in design, qualification, change management and validation documentation.
Deliver tasks to improve or maintain business solutions and automate where possible.
Analyze processes for standardization and continuous improvement.
Build dashboards/reports (PowerBI) for visibility into plant and system performance.
Assist in training materials and end-user adoption.
Adhere to security, safety, and compliance protocols.
