Job summary

Lilly is seeking an Engineer - Automation Engineering to join the Foundry in Lebanon, Indiana. You will provide automation support for one or more operating areas across site and capital projects, focusing on GMP-compliant controls and a right‑first‑time startup.

The role requires collaboration with PLC and analytical teams, ensuring data integration, validation, and robust documentation as the site scales to full GMP manufacturing during startup.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering or a related scientific discipline.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience supporting Analytical/Laboratory systems.
• Authorized applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis; Lilly will not sponsor visas.

Responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day automation support for one or more operating areas across site and/or for capital projects.
• Assist in implementing reliable, compliant control applications and systems to support GMP operations.
• Collaborate with PLC Systems and Analytical teams to enable data integration and system validation.
• Maintain thorough documentation of configurations and access changes per Lilly quality standards.
