Job summary

Hims & Hers is seeking an experienced Principal Facilities Engineer for our New Albany, OH site to lead facility and utility systems in a regulated pharmaceutical environment. You will own on-site engineering for HVAC, electrical, water, EMS/BMS, and related systems, coordinating with Maintenance and Quality on IQ/OQ/PQ and regulatory compliance.

The role requires 8–10 years of GMP‑regulated experience, a mechanical or electrical engineering degree, and the ability to work Wed–Sun, 2:00 PM to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 8–10 years facilities engineering experience in GMP‑regulated pharma/manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, cGMP, and validation lifecycle (IQ/OQ/PQ).

Responsibilities

• Lead on‑site engineering for facility and utility systems (HVAC, electrical, water, EMS/BMS) during Wed–Sun shift.
• Review drawings, P&IDs, and specs for compliance and GMP suitability.
• Coordinate commissioning activities and ensure cGMP compliance and regulatory readiness.
• Manage preventive maintenance programs and vendor relationships to improve reliability.
• Respond to alarms and emergencies, directing troubleshooting and remediation.
