Job summary

JLL in New Albany, OH is seeking an HVAC Technician to maintain CTUs, refrigeration, and HVAC equipment in a GMP-adjacent pharmaceutical facility. You will interpret schematics, work from CAD drawings, and support installation and preventive maintenance.

This role requires 12-hour shifts (day or night), independent and team collaboration, and a focus on accuracy, safety, and documentation; the team prioritizes reliable equipment, strong communication, and on-site presence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1+ years refrigeration/air conditioning mechanic experience in an industrial/research environment.
• 2+ years hands-on HVAC/R maintenance experience.
• Experience with electronic and pneumatic controls and interpreting control diagrams.
• Ability to work independently and in teams, with cross-trade disciplines.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts (day or night).

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, service, and maintain CTUs and HVAC/R systems, including controls and pumps.
• Install, repair, maintain, and commission refrigeration and air conditioning equipment and controls.
• Operate and maintain building systems (hot water, steam, ventilation, cooling, water treatment).
• Maintain ancillary systems like chillers, cooling towers, and pumps.
• Work from CAD drawings, schematics, and instructions for installations and repairs.
