Job summary

Civica seeks a Principal Engineer: Utilities & HVAC to serve as site SME for GMP HVAC and Critical Utility systems at our new Petersburg, VA facility. You will drive reliable operation, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement for HVAC, utilities and related systems.

The role requires extensive experience with GMP utilities, start-up exposure, and collaboration across cross-functional teams to meet project and site goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or relevant sciences.
• 6+ years of experience with GMP Utilities.
• Start-up experience is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide SME leadership for GMP HVAC and utility systems and related support.
• Ensure systems operate in compliance with regulatory Civica Standards.
• Lead risk assessment activities and participate in teams/committees.
• Develop documentation to demonstrate proper installation and qualification of systems.
• Monitor KPI's and coordinate maintenance and improvements.
