Job summary

Hims & Hers seeks a Principal Facilities Engineer to support critical facility and utility systems at our Mesa, Arizona site, a regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment operating under cGMP requirements.

Your role will be the on-site engineering authority during the Wed–Sun shift, coordinating with Maintenance, QA, and Validation teams to ensure design integrity, commissioning, and ongoing compliance. A bachelor's degree and 8–10 years in GMP settings are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 8–10 years of facilities engineering experience in GMP-regulated environments.
• Experience with HVAC, electrical distribution, and cleanroom systems.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards (FDA CFR 21 Part 210/211) and validation lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Serve as on-site engineering lead for facility systems during Wed–Sun shift.
• Review drawings, P&IDs, and specs for new construction to ensure code compliance.
• Evaluate HVAC system design and equipment selection per URS and GMP.
• Lead IQ/OQ/PQ activities for critical equipment and utilities.
• Maintain qualification and compliance with cGMP and FDA regulations.
• Coordinate PM programs and manage CMMS work orders.
• Respond to alarms and emergencies during shift hours.
