Job summary

Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) seeks a Graduate Medical Education Program Coordinator to oversee the day-to-day operations of residency programs, including scheduling, recruitment, interviews, matching, and accreditation.

The role supports compliance with duty hours, evaluations, licensing, contracts and re-credentialing; manages the GME database, marketing materials, rotation schedules and trainee morale while collaborating with program leadership in a fast-paced health system.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with 1 year experience in healthcare or educational setting or an Associate’s Degree related field.
• 1 year related experience. Knowledge of program management methodologies and protocols.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and the internet.
• Strong writing and editing skills.
• Skill in collecting and analyzing complex data.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree related field.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates day-to-day operations of residency/fellowship programs including scheduling, recruitment, interviews and match.
• Tracks and ensures compliance with duty hours, evaluations, licensing, moonlighting, contracts and re‑credentialing.
• Manages GME personnel database and data quality for current and alumni staff.
• Oversees marketing content for GME programs, including websites, newsletters and recruitment materials.
• Monitors trainee morale and suggests improvements to training experience.
• Develops annual rotation schedules and manages changes for GME programs.
