Job summary

Geisinger in Wilkes-Barre, PA seeks a program administrator to lead the Graduate Medical Education program's accreditation, non-clinical operations, and financial management, working with the Program Director and leadership to ensure national accreditation compliance and strategic planning.

Responsibilities include overseeing site visits, managing the residency/fellow data system, coordinating recruitment, budgets, CME, and policy implementation; acts as liaison with residents/fellows and GME

Qualifications

Requires comprehensive understanding of national accreditation policies and organizational policies.
Ability to direct program planning, recruitment, accreditation and assigned projects.
High degree of initiative and independent judgment.

Responsibilities

Partners with leadership to ensure continued program accreditation and site-visit readiness.
Oversees accreditation activities, including site visit preparation and execution.
Manages residency/fellow data system (evaluations, duty hours, files, calendars, and curriculum updates).
Ensures compliance with national accreditation requirements and GME policies.
Oversees residency/fellow recruitment and selection processes (NRMP, CODA).
Manages and audits program budgets and CME budgets in collaboration with GME leadership.
Tracks residency/fellow procedures and logbooks.
Serves as proctor for Intraining Examinations.
