Job summary

MLK Community Healthcare seeks a GME Program Coordinator to oversee administrative operations of the Internal Medicine Residency Program and GME department. You will liaise with residents, faculty, and external institutions to support onboarding, compliance, recruitment, evaluations, and scheduling.

Collaborate with Program Directors and GME leadership to ensure ACGME alignment. Responsibilities include residency logistics, trainee records, annual assessments, and participation in accreditation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Education, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
• Minimum two years of Graduate Medical Education, residency, fellowship, healthcare administration, academic medicine, or higher education experience preferred.
• Experience coordinating programs, projects, or administrative operations in a healthcare or educational environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates daily operations and logistics of residency and GME programs.
• Supports Program Directors and GME leadership in managing resident schedules, rotations, and program activities.
• Maintains residency management systems, databases, and trainee records.
• Tracks program expenditures and supports purchasing, invoices, reimbursement requests, and honoraria.
• Assists with development, monitoring, and reconciliation of residency and GME budgets.
