Job summary

Virginia Commonwealth University Health Systems is seeking a Program Coordinator in the GME department to support graduate and undergraduate functions alongside program directors, ensuring compliance with GME and ACGME.

Under supervision of the Program Director, this role manages operations of residency/fellowship programs, with knowledge of accreditation policies, and may handle trainee recruitment, evaluations, workflow analysis, reporting, and communications with internal and external

Qualifications

Minimum of one (1) year of experience in program or project management, preferably in supporting an accredited education program.
Previous experience using computers and a variety of software applications including New Innovations, e-mail, calendaring products, Microsoft applications and web-based databases.

Responsibilities

Recruit trainees and conduct trainee evaluations.
Analyze administrative workflow and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
Compile reports, maintain databases and manage program communications.
Coordinate with Office of Graduate Medical Education and ACGME.
Act as liaison with students, residents, fellows, program directors and Vice Chair for Education.
