Job summary

Mercyhealth seeks an Education Coordinator to support the Fellowship Program’s curriculum and ensure ACGME compliance. The role coordinates didactic activities, schedules, and resident evaluations, while guiding residents on policies.

You will assist with accreditation activities and help recruit fellows, ensuring quality improvement initiatives. The successful candidate will work within Mercyhealth’s Graduate Medical Education environment, contributing to a culture of excellence and service

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; experience in Graduate Medical Education is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a busy education environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate educational activities (e.g., conferences, Grand Rounds) to support curriculum and ACGME requirements.
• Provide guidance on program policies and non-clinical aspects of the curriculum for residents/fellows.
• Manage rotation, clinic, and call schedules; monitor and update schedules for accuracy.
• Coordinate fellow recruitment, selection, and program evaluations; support accreditation activities as needed.
