Job summary

The Nemours Foundation seeks a GME Program Coordinator to support the management and oversight of fellowship training programs in alignment with ACGME standards and accreditation requirements.

You will work with the Director of GME and Program Directors to coordinate applicant screening, schedule interviews, maintain records, and assist with budget and compliance activities across residency and fellowship programs at Nemours Delaware.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is required.
• 1–3 years of related experience in graduate or undergraduate medical education.
• Experience with residency/fellowship programs is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provides administrative assistance to the fellowship training program including the Program Director, Associate Program Director, Director of GME, and fellows in training.
• Assists with development and implementation of division, department and institutional procedures and policies related to office operations.
• Coordinates recruitment and screening of applicants and manages residency program listings and operations.
• Manages trainee application processes: respond to inquiries, evaluate applications, verify credentials, schedule interviews, and maintain records.
• Ensures licensure, HIPAA training, immunization status, background checks, and drug screening for house staff.
• Provides orientation materials to trainees and handles access to hospital systems.
• Maintains scholarly activity records and prepares annual accreditation documentation.
• Participates in residency/fellowship committees, takes minutes, and supports committee actions.
• Assists in creating rotation schedules and tracking off-site rotations.
• Advises fellows on licensing, visa sponsorship, and examinations.

Education

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

1-3 years of related experience in graduate or undergraduate medical education
