Job summary

The University of California, Irvine Health School of Medicine’s Pathology & Laboratory Medicine department seeks an Health Profns Educ Spec 2 to manage the onboarding and administrative coordination for ACGME and non-ACGME trainee programs. You will work with the Program Director and coordinators to ensure timely surveys and events are hosted.

Responsibilities include coordinating interviews, site visits, graduations, and reimbursements, while maintaining confidentiality and delivering accurate

• Ability to generate computer reports, checking for errors, correcting and submitting accurate reports.
• Skills include entering, maintaining, extracting, and analyzing data in electronic systems.
• Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training
• 3-5 years experience

Responsibilities

• Manage onboarding process for incoming trainees.
• Coordinate orientation for incoming trainees.
• Coordinate trainee interviews for the department.
• Provide administrative support for site visits.
• Attend all GME and Internal Pathology coordinator meetings.
• Attend trainee workshops and conferences.
• Work with Program Director, Assistant Program Director and Program Coordinators to ensure all ACGME, ADS, ABPath and GME online surveys are completed in a timely manner.
• Coordinate graduation and trainee retreat.
• Coordinate all reimbursements for trainees.
