Clyde's of Georgetown in Washington, DC is seeking a seasoned General Manager with a proven track record managing high-volume venues. This executive role requires overseeing front-of-house operations, guiding guest experiences, and owning financial performance in a landmark Georgetown location.

Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate. The role offers a base salary of $125,000–$135,000 with quarterly bonus potential and a comprehensive benefits package in a reputable restaurant

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience as a General Manager in a high-volume restaurant (annual sales of $10M+)
• Strong financial acumen — P&L ownership, forecasting, scheduling, labor management, and cost control
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Hardworking, hospitality-driven with a desire to excel and maintain the highest level of service

Responsibilities

• Set the engaging hospitality tone and energy that defines DC's busiest dining destination
• Set and maintain guest service standards
• Lead a FOH operation across lunch, dinner, brunch, and late night
• Interview, hire, train, schedule, and develop FOH managers and employees
• Work the floor hands-on — greet guests, process checks, and resolve complaints in real time
• Develop and manage the annual financial plan for the restaurant — sales, labor, cost of goods, controllables, and operating income
• Lead monthly inventory in close partnership with the culinary team
• Partner with the Executive Chef on menu planning, cost control, and seamless FOH/BOH execution
