Call Your Mother is hiring a General Manager in Philadelphia. You’ll run daily shop operations, lead a front-and-back-of-house team, manage costs, and uphold CYM’s high hospitality standards. This role requires a hands-on leader who can balance guest experience with profitability and operations.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of restaurant management experience required.
• Strong understanding of P&L, COGS, labor, scheduling and food quality standards.
• Current ServSafe Manager Food Safety Certification required.
• Organized with ability to balance costs, team needs, and daily operations.
• Leads by example with hands-on, guest-focused leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day shop operations from opening to closing, ensuring CYM standards.
• Proactively solve problems and improve efficiency, organization, and success.
• Lead supervisors and team to deliver exceptional hospitality and CYM's VIBES.
• Partner with supervisors to build a high-performing, communicative team.
• Maintain operational standards with checklists and recipe specifications.
• Oversee equipment maintenance, cleaning, and storage organization.
• Ensure ServSafe and CYM safety standards daily.
• Manage food and beverage inventory, ordering, and budgeting toward goals.
• Recruit, hire, onboard, train, coach, and evaluate team performance.
• Create schedules that fit the business and ensure proper coverage.
• Step in during emergencies and callouts to support shop, team, and guests.
• Work in the shop five days a week, including weekends.
• Travel between CYM locations in the DMV as needed.
