Job summary

Call Your Mother Deli seeks a Vice President of Operations, based in Chicago, to lead daily operations across our Chicago and Denver shops and drive efficiency while preserving CYM’s vibrant culture.

The VP will mentor senior leaders, manage labor and food costs, ensure health and safety standards, and partner with Finance, People, and Culinary teams to support growth across markets. Occasional travel is required.

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in multi-unit restaurant operations (QSR preferred).
• At least 5 years in a senior leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and oversee daily operations across all CYM locations in Chicago and Denver.
• Develop and implement processes to enhance efficiency and guest experience across regions.
• Collaborate with ops leadership to execute strategies for growth and profitability.
• Mentor Directors of Operations, District Managers, and shop leaders to foster a positive work environment.
• Oversee labor, inventory, and food cost management to ensure profitability while maintaining high standards.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Analyze KPIs to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Drive guest service excellence and a vibrant store atmosphere.
• Work with Finance, People and Culinary teams to align operational goals with company strategy.
