Job summary

Call Your Mother in Chicago is seeking a General Manager to oversee kitchen and front-of-house, develop your team, and drive profitability. This role is based in Chicago and requires hands-on leadership.

You’ll manage operations five days a week, weekends included, and move between locations as needed, all while upholding CYM values.

Competitive salary around $70,000 with quarterly bonus and comprehensive benefits in a fast-paced, hospitality-driven environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of restaurant management experience.
• Strong understanding of P&L management, COGS, labor, scheduling.
• Experience with food safety and sanitation standards.
• Organized and detail-oriented with budgeting experience.
• Customer-focused hospitality and team leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day shop operations from opening to closing.
• Proactively solve problems and improve efficiency.
• Lead supervisors to deliver exceptional hospitality and CYM’s BIG V.I.B.E.S.
• Build a positive, high-performing work environment rooted in teamwork and accountability.
• Establish and uphold operational standards with checklists and recipe specs.
• Protect shop condition and appearance through maintenance and organization.
• Champion food safety and CYM safety standards daily.
• Oversee inventory, ordering, budgeting, and labor goals.
