Job summary

GQR seeks a senior Workday specialist to run and expand its worldwide Workday environment. The role is hands-on and functional: lead projects, shape the long-term roadmap, and align governance with HRIS priorities.

You will bridge multiple stakeholders from HR Operations to Finance and IT, turning needs into scalable Workday solutions. You will drive end-to-end Workday initiatives, including release management, data governance, and complex reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, IS, Business, or related area or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in HRIS, incl. 3+ years as senior Workday lead or SME.
• Deep knowledge of Workday Core HCM; hands-on in Reporting, Compensation, Security, Learning, or similar.
• Familiarity with U.S. workforce compliance reports and HR metrics.
• Proven track record supporting large, complex initiatives.
• Experience with Workday integrations: EIB, Web Services, APIs, Studio.
• Structured PM: scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, stakeholders.
• Advanced spreadsheet and reporting skills; complex formulas and pivots.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management; influence without authority.

Responsibilities

• Shape and execute Workday roadmap and governance aligned with HR and business goals.
• Serve as the functional expert across Core HCM, Security, Reporting, Compensation, Learning, Performance, Talent, Recruiting, Benefits.
• Work with integrations team to specify requirements, data mappings, configuration, testing, and defect resolution.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to convert requirements into standardized, compliant configurations.
• Run Workday projects end-to-end: requirements, analysis, configuration, testing, rollout, post-launch support.
• Advise on Workday use for complex HR and business initiatives.
• Spread Workday knowledge and best practices across the team.
• Manage Workday release cycles; support reporting, security, data governance, compliance.
• Investigate system problems, identify root causes, implement durable fixes.
• Coordinate with technical teams and vendors to deliver work and manage risk.
• Execute mass data updates via EIB with accuracy controls.
• Build and maintain custom reports, dashboards, and calculated fields.
• Maintain current process docs and training materials.
