Job summary

GQR is seeking an experienced HRIS Manager with strong Workday expertise to lead the organization’s HRIS function while remaining hands‑on with the Workday platform. This role blends strategic leadership with technical configuration across modules.

You will manage a team, partner with senior stakeholders, and actively configure, troubleshoot, and optimize Workday to support HR, Payroll, and reporting needs. Excellent communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of HRIS/Workday experience.
• Experience managing/mentoring an HRIS/Workday team.
• Strong understanding of Workday processes, security, reporting.

Responsibilities

• Hands-On Workday – 50%
• Configure and optimize Workday processes, security, and functionality
• Troubleshoot complex Workday issues and drive improvements
• Support Workday releases, testing, integrations, and optimization
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and calculated fields
• Partner with HR, Payroll, Finance, IT and stakeholders on initiatives
• Translate business requirements into effective Workday solutions
• Lead, mentor and develop the HRIS/Workday team
• Manage priorities, projects, and team performance
• Develop the HRIS roadmap and long-term Workday strategy
• Align HR technology with organizational goals
• Manage Workday projects, vendors and external partners
• Identify opportunities to improve HR processes through automation
• Communicate system capabilities and project updates to leadership
