Job summary

Amentum seeks a strategic Vice President of Finance Excellence and Transformation to lead a technology-driven, enterprise-wide finance transformation. The role designs a multi-year roadmap to unify the finance landscape, improving processes, data governance, and governance across the organization.

Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Enterprise Finance, the candidate will partner with CFO leadership and stakeholders to deliver an integrated operating model supporting long-term profitable

Qualifications

• Typically 12–15+ years of progressive experience in Finance, Program Finance, or Financial Operations.
• At least 5 years leading enterprise-wide finance transformation initiatives.
• US Citizenship is required to apply.

Responsibilities

• Developing the Transformation Vision aligned with strategy and value creation.
• Stakeholder engagement to secure buy-in from business leaders.
• Change management and harmonization of processes, tools, and standards.
• Lead end-to-end finance transformation programs including ERP and automation.
• Set and track KPIs; report risks and mitigation plans to leadership.
• Manage cross-functional teams and external partners across project phases.
