Job summary

Global Bank in New York City seeks an experienced VP to lead Strategy and Execution for Finance transformation. You will shape the future-state operating model, translate priorities into a multi-year roadmap, and guide large-scale initiatives across controllership, FP&A, and core Finance functions.

Partner with Finance and Technology leaders to set priorities, define target-state processes, and drive measurable outcomes while ensuring executable implementation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field.
• 8+ years of experience across FP&A, financial accounting, Finance transformation, strategy or advisory roles in financial services.
• CPA, CFA, or comparable certification preferred.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, accounts payable, FP&A, and broader Finance operations.
• Proven experience designing and leading large-scale Finance transformation initiatives from strategy through implementation.
• Ability to operate at both strategic and detailed solution-design levels.
• Experience with SAP, Oracle, or OneStream.
• Experience applying automation, AI and tech-enabled solutions in Finance.

Responsibilities

• Help define and implement the future-state operating model for a global Finance organization.
• Translate priorities into a multi-year Finance transformation roadmap.
• Lead large-scale initiatives across controllership, AP, FP&A and related functions.
• Partner with Finance and Tech leadership to prioritize and develop solutions.
• Define target-state processes, principles and measurable outcomes.
• Facilitate cross-functional sessions on process design, decisions, and adoption.
• Translate requirements into functional and technical specs for Finance systems.
• Drive integration and simplification across GL, subledger, consolidation, planning and reconciliation.
