Job summary

Amentum is seeking a seasoned, strategic Vice President of Finance Excellence and Transformation to lead a technology-centric enterprise-wide Finance transformation. The role unifies finance across growth through acquisitions and creates a scalable operating model supporting long-term profitability.

Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Enterprise Finance, the role designs a multi-year transformation roadmap leveraging technology to enhance processes, data and governance.

Qualifications

• Typically 12–15+ years of experience in Finance or Financial Operations with 5+ years leading enterprise finance transformations.
• US Citizenship is required to apply.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or related field; master’s preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and drive the enterprise-wide finance transformation vision aligned with corporate strategy.
• Lead stakeholder engagement to secure buy-in from key leaders across functions.
• Partner with Finance, Contracts, IT, HR, and Operations on change management and adoption of new tools.
• Assess current-state processes, legacy platforms, and integration challenges from M&A growth.
• Plan and execute end-to-end transformation programs with KPI tracking and governance.
• Oversee cross-functional teams, external consultants, and technology vendors.
