Qualifications
- Bachelor degree or equivalent with 7+ years in UC or voice infrastructure.
- Strong individual contributor in a global engineering team.
- Experience in automation and development applied to infrastructure.
- Deep Cisco UC Manager administration and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on on-premises-to-cloud calling migration.
- Knowledge of SIP trunking, voice gateways, SBCs and E911 compliance.
- Strong Python automation skills are essential for this role.
Responsibilities
- Engineer and operate voice and calling infrastructure, including the transition to cloud platforms.
- Assess architectures and plan and execute migration activity with teams across regions.
- Maintain reliable unified-communications services and resolve complex operational issues.
- Support conferencing platforms including Webex, Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
- Automate administration and operational processes through Python, scripting and APIs.
