Job summary

Dow Inc. is seeking a Global Turnaround Scheduler SME in the Gulf Coast region.

The role provides global scheduling expertise and governance across the Platinum work process, partnering with OTEC, site turnaround teams, and stakeholders to ensure strict adherence to global standards during FEL and execution. The objective is to improve readiness, reduce risk, and drive outcomes with training and performance oversight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of relevant turnaround experience, or 10 years if no degree.
• Deep knowledge of Primavera, Scheduling software, and turnaround work processes.
• Previous experience as a master scheduler in a major turnaround is preferred.
• Willing and able to travel domestically and internationally up to 25% annually.
• U.S. work authorization; no visa sponsorship is available for this position.

Responsibilities

• Own and govern Dow's global turnaround scheduling discipline, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and governance.
• Provide scheduling leadership to turnaround teams for major events ($30MM+) to improve readiness and execution.
• Assess readiness, identify risks, gaps, and opportunities throughout FEL and execution phases.
• Lead readiness reviews, challenge sessions, and gate reviews to ensure critical milestones are achieved.
• Develop recommendations to address deficiencies and drive better turnaround outcomes.
• Own the global scheduler qualification curriculum and support training and mentoring of schedulers.
• Lead global scheduler networks and promote best practices across Dow.
• Support execution by monitoring performance, guiding risk management, and enabling informed decisions.
• Capture lessons learned and drive standardization and continuous improvement across turnaround processes.
• Lead evaluation of emerging technologies, including AI-enabled solutions, to advance scheduling capability.
