Job summary

CEVA Logistics in Romulus, MI is seeking an Import/Export Specialist III to manage inbound and outbound shipments for the Air and Ocean division. You will handle documentation, ensure regulatory compliance, and coordinate with clients to meet deadlines and accuracy requirements.

Ideal candidates have 4–6 years of logistics experience, strong English communication, and proficiency with MS Office and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, analyze and interpret complex procedures or regulations and write correspondence and procedural documents.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using units of U.S. currency, weights and volume and distance measurements.
• PC literate with intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry.
• Effective communication with multi-functional and diverse backgrounds; speak before groups and present information.
• Reads/writes/speaks English fluently.

Responsibilities

• Receive, review and process documentation; manage accounts and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Process documents and provide updates to internal/external customers for timely transactions.
• Assist in new account workstreams, maintain client profiles and databases.
• Obtain government releases, arrange delivery, receipt and invoicing as needed.
• Process releases, delivery, and invoicing for services per standards.
• Identify tasks requiring expediting to ensure compliant processing.
• Review entries, invoices and client packages prior to distribution.
• Investigate problems and communicate findings to supervisor.
