AbbVie Inc. is seeking a Third Party Manufacturing Account Manager for External Manufacturing Medical Devices. This full-time role focuses on managing relationships with Third-Party Manufacturers and Customers, overseeing contracts, forecasting, and capacity planning to ensure supply and performance.

The position requires a strong background in program management and financial analysis. The role involves collaboration with Legal, MTS, R&D, QA, Regulatory, and manufacturing plants, and may cover

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Operations, Business or related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in manufacturing, program management, materials management, logistics, QA, marketing, business development or engineering.
• Experience with combination products and/or medical devices is preferred; medical device experience is valued.
• Demonstrated success in financial analysis, negotiations and project management.
• Excellent program management, presentation, oral and written communication skills.
• Team-oriented with ability to manage multiple accounts and understand operational/logistical issues.
• Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements related to manufacturing and contracts.

Responsabilités

• Serve as the primary contact between AbbVie and Third-Party Customers or Third-Party Manufacturers. Travel to TPM/TPC sites and build productive working relationships.
• Serve as the primary AbbVie interface with executive management at TPMs and TPCs.
• Ensure contract commitments are fulfilled by both parties and resolve issues.
• Assess TPM capacity against long-range plan forecasts to determine whether strategic objectives can be met.
• Identify opportunities to in-source or out-source products to maximize benefit to AbbVie.
• Work with AbbVie functions to negotiate new and extended contracts and ensure performance metrics are included in contract terms.
• Maintain Third-Party Contract information in the contract manufacturing database and track key dates/milestones.
• Identify TPMs for new/existing products and support launches and transfers with forecasting.
• Develop and maintain a TPM Capability and Due Diligence Database and stay worldwide informed on TPM capabilities.
