Job summary

AbbVie Inc. is seeking a contract management professional to serve as the focal point for products manufactured by Third-Party Manufacturers or AbbVie on a contract basis for Third-Party Customers.

You will be the primary AbbVie interface, ensuring contract commitments, regulatory compliance, and capacity planning across TPMs and TPCs. You will lead negotiations, manage multi-account responsibilities, and collaborate with Legal, R&D, QA, Regulatory, and Manufacturing to optimize supply chain

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 5–8 years in manufacturing, program management, logistics, QA, marketing or engineering preferred.
• Experience with combination products and/or medical devices is valued.
• Demonstrated success in financial analysis, negotiations and project management.
• Strong program management and communication skills; ability to manage multiple accounts.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact between AbbVie and Third-Party Customers or Third-Party Manufacturers.
• Travel to TPM/TPC sites and build productive relationships; understand TPM capabilities and customer needs.
• Interface with executive management at TPMs and TPCs.
• Ensure contract commitments are fulfilled and resolve issues; engage AbbVie resources as needed.
• Assess TPM capacity against long-range plans and communicate concerns.
• Identify opportunities to in-source or out-source products and consolidate work among TPMs.
• Negotiate new and extended contracts; ensure performance metrics are in contract terms.
• Maintain Third-Party Contract information and track milestones.
• Support launches and transfers; provide forecasting information to TPMs.
