Job summary

AbbVie Inc. seeks an experienced professional to manage contracts with Third Party Manufacturers and Third Party Customers. You will interface with executive teams, ensure commitments are met, and drive capacity planning and cost control while negotiating extensions and new contracts.

Role requires strong program management, regulatory understanding, and the ability to coordinate across Legal, MTS, R&D, QA, Regulatory, and Manufacturing functions. Travel to TPM/TPC sites is expected.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Science, Engineering, Operations, Business or equivalent experience.
• 5–8 years experience in Manufacturing, Program Management, Materials Management, Logistics, QA, Marketing, Business Development or Engineering.
• Demonstrated success in financial analysis, negotiations and project management.
• Excellent Program Management, Presentation, Oral and Written Communication Skills.
• Team oriented; able to understand operations and logistical issues.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact between AbbVie and Third Party Customer or Third Party Manufacturer; travel to TPM/TPC sites to understand capabilities and needs.
• Primary AbbVie interface with executive management at TPMs and for TPCs.
• Ensure contract commitments are fulfilled and resolve with appropriate AbbVie resources.
• Analyze TPM capacity vs LRP forecasts to support strategic objectives.
• Identify opportunities to in-source or out-source products to maximize value to AbbVie.
• Negotiate new contracts and extensions with Third Parties; establish and align performance metrics.
• Maintain Third Party Contract information and track key dates and milestones.
• Identify TPMs for new/existing products and support launches and transfers.
• Develop TPM Capability and Due Diligence Database with worldwide expertise.
