Qualifications

• 3-8+ years of B2B telecom sales experience with collocation and data transit.
• Proven track record in hunting sales and quota achievement.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, revenue-driven team.
• Experience with CRM systems is a plus.
• College degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Identify new business opportunities within a prescribed regional sales territory.
• Qualify and generate opportunities by direct calling, email, and outreach.
• Conduct onsite customer meetings as needed.
• Use consultative selling to identify connectivity solutions.
• Leverage Cogent's global network footprint to position services.
