Job summary

CAPTEK Softgel International is seeking a Recruiting Specialist to own the full recruitment cycle from candidate search through onboarding and integration into the CAPTEK culture.

You will partner with HR and business leaders to craft job descriptions, conduct effective interviews, and deliver a high-quality onboarding experience for new hires. Travel to San Diego County and other locations is required as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of full-cycle Talent Acquisition experience.
• Ability to collaborate with all levels of the organization.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to influence business leaders at all levels.
• Professional and empathetic representation of CAPTEK's brand.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Experience with technology; MS Office, ATS, LMS, collaboration tools, job boards & social media.
• Ability to multi-task and stay organized.
• Willingness to travel to San Diego County and other locations.
• Bilingual: English/Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Owns the full recruiting/hiring cycle from searching for candidates to onboarding.
• Provide exceptional internal and external customer service.
• Advise hiring managers and coach on recruitment processes.
• Develop and update job descriptions, interview guides and onboarding plans.
• Deliver high-quality interview and onboarding experiences for candidates and new hires.
• Participate in recruiting development events.
• Develop a skills matrix to support hiring and retention.
• Present monthly talent metrics (open requisitions, time-to-fill, hires).
• Partner with leaders to keep critical positions filled.
• Update open position tracking reports.
• Pursue daily process improvements to add value.
• Lead retention and training programs including stay and pulse surveys.
• Oversee pre-employment activities; e-verify, background checks, drug screens.
• Perform reference checks.
• Align candidates with business objectives for open roles.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to define knowledge, skills and abilities needed.
• Maintain internal reporting tools for recruitment metrics, growth and attrition.
• Utilize Dayforce HRIS and external sources to meet business goals.
• Other duties as assigned.
