Job summary

Amgen seeks a Strategic Planning & Operations Sr Mgr to partner with GCCI leadership to translate strategy into execution at a global scale. You will guide planning, governance, and transformation across the organization with a hands-on, results-driven approach.

You will drive KPIs, dashboards, and exec reporting, coordinating across functions, ensuring timely delivery, and embedding AI-enabled capabilities to improve business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or advanced degree with 2+ years in Strategic Planning & Operations, or a Master’s with 4+ years.
• Experience supporting senior leaders in Strategy & Operations, Chief of Staff, Business Operations, Consulting, or Program Management.
• Strong strategic thinking, business acumen, and executive communication skills.
• Proven ability to drive cross-functional initiatives and organizational change.
• Experience developing KPIs, dashboards, and performance reporting.
• Ability to synthesize data into actionable insights and influence decisions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with GCCI leadership to execute priorities and monitor milestones.
• Develop budgets, workforce planning, KPIs, dashboards, and exec reporting.
• Coordinate leadership activities and governance processes.
• Manage cross-functional initiatives and ensure timely delivery.
• Organize leadership meetings and prepare materials.
• Drive organizational effectiveness and adoption of new technologies.
• Synthesize information into actionable insights and decisions.
