Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield seeks a Senior Spatial Data Manager to own the global spatial data governance model and ensure BOMA-compliant floor plans and occupancy validation. You will lead a small, distributed team, partner with regional resources, and drive enterprise data standards to support workplace and portfolio planning decisions.

This role requires strong analytical skills, governance experience, and the ability to translate complex spatial data into actionable leadership insights.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or equivalent in Architectural Technology, Space Planning, Spatial Data Management, Data Analytics, or Occupancy Planning.
• 4–8 years of experience in spatial data management platforms such as IWMS/CAFM systems.
• Advanced proficiency in interpreting architectural drawings and applying BOMA space standards.
• Strong analytical capabilities with MS Office and reporting tools like Excel/Power BI.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience managing and developing a small team.
• Experience leading governance programs and ensuring audit-ready accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to build relationships with internal and external partners.
• Ownership mindset and commitment to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level SME in spatial data management and space analytics.
• Lead global governance of spatial and occupancy data, ensuring compliance with standards.
• Own the spatial data operating model within IWMS.
• Establish global naming conventions, allocation models, and reporting frameworks.
• Improve spatial data workflows, dashboards, KPIs, and audit programs.
• Serve as global SPOC and system administrator for space management platform.
• Lead integration between CAD/CAFM systems and enterprise platforms.
• Partner with Workplace Strategy and Portfolio teams for forecasting and utilization modeling.
• Support regional teams and global delivery maturity.
• Develop and guide a small, globally distributed team.
• Foster knowledge sharing and consistent ways of working.
• Provide governance oversight to ensure timely, accurate spatial data services.
• Monitor space allocation model execution and reporting alignment.
• Recommend process improvements and automation enhancements.
• Provide training and governance for spatial data platforms.
• Support enterprise initiatives on efficiency and portfolio performance.
