Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Global Sourcing Manager for a fully remote role serving projects in the renewable energy sector. The ideal candidate has 7+ years in global sourcing/procurement, strong leadership, and expertise with SAP S/4HANA and e-sourcing platforms. Travel for audits/negotiations may be required.

About the Role

This is a fully remote position, enabling you to contribute your expertise from anywhere within South Africa. Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in global sourcing and procurement, with significant experience in the renewable energy or related industrial sectors.
• Demonstrated success in developing and executing global sourcing strategies for complex technical components and services.
• Proven expertise in international contract negotiation and supplier relationship management.
• Strong understanding of global supply chain dynamics, logistics, and risk management.
• Excellent analytical skills, with proficiency in spend analysis tools and financial modeling.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across diverse cultures and geographies.
