Job summary

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company seeking a Senior Global Sourcing Manager for Critical Minerals (Rare Earth Magnets). You will own the global mandate end-to-end, from market intelligence to supplier relationship management, to secure US-friendly sources and protect BOM cost across NPI and mass production.

Responsibilities include leading RFI/RFQ/RFP processes, should-cost modeling, and cross-functional leadership with Engineering and CorpDev/Finance to optimize supply

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, or related technical field.
• Demonstrated experience navigating concentrated, geopolitically sensitive supply chains.
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, including international travel to mines, refiners, and processors.

Responsibilities

• Own the commodity strategy for the assigned critical mineral with focus on supply chain resilience, geopolitical risk, cost, and quality.
• Build and maintain tiered supply chain mapping from end products to raw material, quantify revenue exposure and BOM impact.
• Maintain expert-level market intelligence and deliver weekly updates on pricing, disruptions, and geopolitical signals.
• Lead RFI/RFQ/RFP processes across miners, refiners, processors, and component suppliers.
• Perform should-cost and TCO analysis; negotiate agreements (offtake, pricing, capacity reservations, payment terms).
• Evaluate strategic interventions (stockpiling, prepayments, JVs, equity investments, vertical integration).
• Build trusted relationships with suppliers, industry associations, and U.S./allied government bodies.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, or related technical field

Advanced degree (Master’s or Doctorate) in materials science, chemical sciences or metallurgical/mining engineering
