Motorola Solutions is seeking a Senior Manager of Software Procurement to lead global sourcing for embedded software, AI tools, and enterprise software platforms. You will set commercial strategies and drive high-value negotiations aligned with product engineering and IT roadmaps.

The role oversees a global team, partners with R&D and Legal, and manages ELAs, IP licensing, and complex SOWs to secure favorable terms and TCO. Hybrid work model in the Chicago area.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of direct people management leading global procurement teams.
• Deep knowledge of embedded software licensing models and emerging AI technologies.
• Experience navigating IP, software copyright, and technology agreements in high-tech industries.

Responsibilities

• Lead a global team of sourcing professionals and drive commercial rigor.
• Architect and execute multi-year sourcing strategies for embedded software and AI tools.
• Negotiate Enterprise Licenses, IP licenses, and SOWs for optimal terms and TCO.
• Collaborate with R&D, Engineering, Product Management, Legal, and IT leadership to integrate third-party tech.
• Direct SRM programs, QBRs, and scorecards with major software vendors.
• Ensure compliance with IP, OSS governance, third-party risk, and AI ethics standards.
