Motorola Solutions is building talent pipelines for Global Procurement. The Strategic Sourcing Manager - Indirect Procurement is the commercial architect for global Business Services, shaping category strategy and optimizing non-production services to create competitive advantage.

You’ll partner with executives to ensure tools and services meet needs while protecting the bottom line. Based in the Greater Chicago Area with in-office presence 3 days per week, this role focuses on value creation,

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain or similar business experience.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.

Responsibilities

• Develop 3-year category roadmaps considering global market volatility and technology shifts.
• Optimize the supplier base and manage vendor relationships to balance volume and risk.
• Build should-cost models to inform negotiations with data-driven insights.
• Design Value-Based RFx processes that emphasize outcomes and KPIs.
• Collaborate with Legal to draft robust MSAs and SOWs with clear SLAs and continuous improvement terms.
• Lead quarterly Strategic Business Reviews with Tier 1 suppliers to drive innovation and value.
