Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Director of Procurement - Software & Cybersecurity to architect and govern our global sourcing for software, cloud, and cybersecurity. Based in the Greater Chicago Area, you will balance commercial goals with security standards across a vendor ecosystem.

You will negotiate ELAs and SOWs, lead a global team, and partner with cyber/risk leaders to ensure compliant, high-value partnerships that power safety technologies worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Management, Computer Science, IT or related field (Master's preferred).
• 8+ years in strategic sourcing/procurement with focus on software and cybersecurity procurement.
• Proven leadership in driving high-value enterprise deals in tech/telecom/safety environments.
• Advanced expertise in drafting negotiating complex software, SaaS, IP, cloud, and security service agreements.
• Deep knowledge of software licensing, cybersecurity frameworks, and TP RM open-source governance.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication for executive audiences.
• Experience recruiting and mentoring procurement talent in fast-paced settings.

Responsibilities

• Architect and drive multi-year global procurement strategies for software/SaaS/cloud and cybersecurity.
• Lead executive-level negotiations for ELAs, SaaS subscriptions, IP licensing, and SOWs.
• Partner with Cyber Security and Risk Management to enforce security standards.
• Serve as primary executive contact for strategic software, cloud, and security vendors; drive QBRs.
• Collaborate with Product, R&D, Engineering, Legal, and IT to integrate third-party software into products.
• Drive software spend optimization, license management, and value engineering using TCO modeling.
• Lead and develop a high-performing global sourcing team.
