Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a procurement leader to drive global sourcing strategies for cybersecurity software, negotiate high-value contracts, and mentor a cross-functional team. You will optimize supplier relationships, manage RFx programs, and deliver cost savings across international stakeholders.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in procurement, with hybrid in-office expectations in the Greater Chicago or Greater Boston area. Travel under 10% is anticipated.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in a related field.
• Extensive experience in strategic sourcing and category management for software.
• Proven ability to manage and negotiate large, enterprise-wide contracts.
• Expertise with RFx from development to contract execution.
• Experience with procure-to-pay processes and eProcurement platforms.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven record delivering projects to completion.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a global team.
• A high level of urgency, integrity, dependability, and results-orientation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute global sourcing strategies for cybersecurity and software.
• Lead complex contract negotiations with global suppliers and manage lifecycle.
• Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers and drive performance reviews.
• Lead RFx processes and leverage eProcurement platforms.
• Achieve cost savings targets with ROI accountability.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across global units.
• Coach and mentor junior procurement team members.
• Identify and implement procurement process improvements.
